Utilisation of private land for mainstreaming Nature-Based Solution in the systemic transformation towards a climate-resilient Europe
DEN is leading and coordinating the communication and dissemination of the LAND4CLIMATE Innovation Action. The main objective of the project is to demonstrate and raise awareness of the usefulness and potential of Nature-Based-Solutions (NBS) on private land in promoting climate resilience among local and regional authorities and communities in Europe. The implementation of LAND4CLIMATE communication and dissemination activities and results will ensure dialogue with and information sharing to local policy makers, administrators, private landowners and citizens to understand concerns and encourage participation in planned activities that demonstrate the successful implementation of the NBS. In addition, DEN is fostering stakeholder engagement and communication actions in all front-running and replicating regions of the project, by supporting the preparation of dedicated local iterative communication plans and conducting group discussions with the main actors.
